Seasick Steve to play gig in aid of homeless charity
By CMU Editorial | Published on Friday 1 April 2011
Seasick Steve has been announced as the headliner of the second annual Streets Of London Concert For Homelessness, which will take place at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on 26 May. All proceeds from the night will go to The Connection at St Martin’s, a day centre near Trafalgar Square that provides specialist support to more than 200 homeless people each day.
Having himself experienced homelessness, Steve said of the show: “I hope you all come, I believe this is for a real good thing. At least, I’m gonna be there”.
Seasick Steve’s new album, ‘You Can’t Teach An Old Dog New Tricks’, will be released on 30 May.
