Live Nation boss sells a third of his shares
By Chris Cooke | Published on Thursday 15 August 2013
Live Nation’s share price had a bit of good old fashioned wobble yesterday following the news that the live giant’s CEO Michael Rapino had sold over a third of his shares in the company, which would have netted him in the region of $11.7 million.
Rapino sold the shares as they reached a 52 week high last week. According to Bloomberg, a spokesman for Rapino said the sale was simply for “estate-planning purposes”. The Live Nation boss signed a new five year contract with the company late last year.
