Kylie announces UK tour, drops booking fees

Kylie Minogue has announced UK tour dates for 2011. The ‘Les Folies Tour’ will see the singer perform two nights each in Glasgow, Manchester and London. Tickets go on sale on 13 Sep.

Minogue said: “The reaction to ‘Aphrodite’ has been absolutely incredible and has inspired me and my creative team to develop a new show that will take all of us on a euphoric journey of joy, excitement and glamour. I can’t wait to get on the road and see all my fans in 2011”.

The big news, apparently, is that no booking fees with be charged on tickets, provided they are purchased from approved outlets, as a thank you to fans. A transaction fee will be charged on all orders, though. And while I know there is a difference between booking fees and transaction fees, it does take the shine off a bit.

‘Get Outta My Way’, the second single from ‘Aphrodite’, will be released on 27 Sep. Here’s the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHGaW8lBlSk
