Kanye West to release ‘Cruel Winter’ film/LP

Not content to overshadow just one 2012 season with a record from his GOOD Music collective, the September-released ‘Cruel Summer’, it now looks like megalomaniacal rapper Kanye West is about to do the same again via a sequel titled ‘Cruel Winter’, as may or may not be listenable (it depends how many times he sets back the release date) this winter.
First, the facts. The rapper/GOOD don has just premiered a new short film come trailer captioned ‘Cruel Winter’, an echo of this year’s Cannes Film Festival-aired short, which previewed the release of ‘Cruel Summer’. Also, Q-Tip ‘hinted’ (read: blabbed) about the ‘prospect’ (read: certainty) of a ‘Cruel Winter’ when speaking to MTV last month.
So basically, this all adds up to it being a very ‘Cruel Winter’ for Kanye West and GOOD Music. And Q-Tip.
