Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, nee Amethyst Amelia Kelly, has signed to Mercury Records UK, and will release a new EP titled ‘Work’ via the Universal label on 8 Apr. Her first LP, ‘The New Classic’, is on its way in spring.
Mercury UK President Jason Iley gushes: “Iggy Azalea is exactly the kind of artist we are trying to sign at Mercury – incredibly exciting and forward-thinking. With her new songs, she will leap forward from her brilliant mixtape, whilst retaining what makes her so utterly unique. She is without doubt going to be a force to be reckoned with”.
