Dirty Beaches adds May dates
By Aly Barchi | Published on Monday 25 February 2013
So, it transpires Dirty Beaches’ Alex Zhang really is releasing that pair of LPs he hinted at back in July. In fact, it’s official; ‘Drifters’ and ‘Love Is The Devil’ will be released as “one conceptual piece” on 20 May via Zoo Music.
Zhang and band will take a promotional trip prior to that, moving as follows:
5 May: Newcastle, The Cluny
6 May: Dundee, Soul Function Suite
7 May: Glasgow, Nice & Sleazy
8 May: Dublin, The Workman’s Club
9 May: Liverpool, Forecast
10 May: Chester, The Compass
11 May: Manchester Soup Kitchen
12 May: Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
Scoring the wait until May, this is the title track to ‘Love Is The Devil’:
