Approved: We Fear Silence at Cable
By Paul Vig | Published on Friday 10 August 2012
We Fear Silence’s drum n bass nights at South London’s Cable have always featured consistently good line-ups, and this Saturday is no exception.
The main room will see Radio 1’s Friction play alongside Breakage and Spectrasoul, with Icicle going back to back with Jubei, the rather good Alix Perez, The Prototypes, and Kiwi dnb big hitter DOSE. MCing will be SP:MC, MANTMAST, Linguistics, and LX One. Room two offers the North Base possee, plus extremely interestingly Tru Thoughts head honcho Robert Luis – he knows a thing or two about joining the dots, just check the ‘Shapes’ compos he puts together for his label – plus Spectrasoul doing an alternative set and Reference too.
Should be a big one for the final Olympic weekend!
Saturday 11 Aug, Cable, 33A Bermondsey St, London SE1, 9pm-6am, £11-£15, more info via this link.
