Approved: Thee Oh Sees – Toe Cutter/Thumb Buster

Psychedelic grot-pop lot Thee Oh Sees are giving away a new track, the beautifully titled ‘Toe Cutter/Thumb Buster’, from their zillionth (well, twelfth) LP ‘Floating Coffin’.
First, the facts: it has pleasingly pithy top notes, is rich in rolling riff pay-offs, and is nothing if not improved by its Azealia Banks-style (in that it features fangs) art.
The sequel to last year’s excellent (and CMU Approved) ‘Putrifiers II’, ‘Floating Coffin’ will be released on 16 Apr. The band play a promotional show in London’s Scala on 9 May, tickets available here.
