Swedish singer-songwriter Sibille Attar has been involved in various musical projects in recent years. I’m going to take a punt and say that the place you’ve most likely heard her before is contributing vocals to Camera Obscura’s 2006 album, ‘Let’s Get Out Of This Country’ (which was produced by her then bandmate, Jari Haapalainen of The Bear Quartet).
Now solo and signed to Universal, Attar released her debut album, ‘Sleepyhead’, in Sweden back in February. The album, as far as I know, currently has no scheduled UK release date, which is a shame because the four tracks from it that you can hear on her SoundCloud page are really lovely.
