Approved: Little Daylight
By Andy Malt | Published on Tuesday 9 July 2013
New York-based pop trio Little Daylight have already had plenty of virtual tongues wagging about them recently, thanks to new single ‘Glitter & Gold’, which they released on iTunes this week. One more can’t hurt though.
Sound-wise they fall very much within the indie-pop zeitgeist – you could, if you so wished, mention them in the same sentence as rising outfits like Kate Boy and NONONO. So, all driving beats, wired synths and brain-drillingly catchy vocals, as is evident on both ‘Glitter & Gold’ and earlier single ‘Overdose’.
They’ve also got remixes for the likes of The Temper Trap, The Neighbourhood and Niki & The Dove under their belts, which helps score indie points.
Check out ‘Glitter & Gold’ here, followed by the video for ‘Overdose’.
