Music PR firm Anorak London is to close after ten years in operation. Originally launched under the name Scruffy Bird in 2003, the company changed its name in 2009 after breaking away from its management division. The company will officially close its doors on 5 Apr.

Directors Laura Martin and Emily Cooper told CMU: “We’ve had an extremely successful ten years and broken countless artists over this time. We have had high levels of success as a business in this ever changing industry but it has come to a point where we would both like a change – we want to quit whilst we are ahead in order to pursue new personal challenges. Emily will be doing freelance digital PR and Laura will be doing freelance press. We are sad to say goodbye to Anorak and our excellent staff but in turn we are very excited about the future”.
