YouTube servicing 2 billion videos a day
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 18 May 2010
YouTube announced yesterday that it is now servicing two billion video streams a day. The stat was revealed in a post on the company’s blog that was talking about the web service’s fifth anniversary. Said blog noted that two billion clicks a day was “nearly double the prime-time audience of all three major US television networks combined”, though that would involve equating clicks for viewers, which isn’t necessarily right.
