YMCA shortlists announced

The shortlists are out for this year’s Yearly Music Convention Awards, the celebration of the showcase festival and music convention season just gone that takes place on the final day of The Great Escape in Brighton. Any industry person who attends such events is now welcome to vote in all or any of the eight categories so far announced, with the TGE judging committee then meeting during TGE to identify all the final winners.
The YMCAs will be dished out at an exclusive reception on the final day of TGE at Al Duomo at 3.30pm. A separate ticket is required for the event, which includes a late lunch of ‘fish and chips with a twist’ plus beer and wine. John Robb and Great Escape co-founder Martin Elbourne will present the awards, before a set by Inuk songstress Elisapie presented by M for Montreal. Tickets are now on sale.
