X-Factor trio Rough Copy sign to Epic

R&B-pop trio Rough Copy – who wound up coming fourth on ‘The X-Factor’ back in 2013, for what it’s worth – have signed to Sony’s Epic Records.
The Croydon-based boyband’s Kazeem Ajobo, Sterling Ramsey and Joey James will release their first single ‘Street Love’, a Beatfreakz-‘pimped’ spin on Anita Baker’s ‘Sweet Love’ with added new lyrical stylings, on 29 Jun, with an LP to follow soon.
Speaking at length and at the same time, the RC boys said: “Being signed to Epic makes everything worthwhile; all the hard work, all the grafting and difficult times make this a magical and memorable moment that will live with us for years to come. We can finally take off the ‘X-Factor’ training wheels and enter the big industry. Along with being signed to a huge major label, we are also excited and happy to announce that we will be releasing our first official single ‘Street Love'”.
Then they added: “We can’t wait to hit stages everywhere and deliver performances to be remembered. How Epic is that?!”
