By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 18 November 2009
Warner Bros Records UK has appointed Ben Durling as an A&R Consultant. Durling previously worked for Lizard King Records where he signed The Killers, and later ran Lavolta Records, working with Kissy Sell Out, The Whip and The Dykeenies, among others. He has also worked in management, and previously collaborated with Warner imprint 14th Floor when he managed Longview.
Confirming the new appointment, Warner Bros’ Christian Tattersfield told CMU: “Ben is a first-class talentspotter, who has collaborated with an impressive range of artists. He is a strong addition to our A&R team at Warner Music, where artist development is paramount. We’re very pleased to be working with him”.
