Villagers debut new single

The once-Mercury nominated Villagers, aka Conor O’Brien, has unveiled a new single entitled ‘The Waves’. Marking his first studio output beyond debut LP ‘Becoming A Jackal’, it’s set for physical release on 22 Oct. That, or buy it on iTunes now.
Here he is talking about what inspired him to write it: “I was looking up at the sky on a particularly clear night and it struck me that I had never written a song about those little moments when you feel a fundamental and awesome sense of wonder and a simultaneously humbling recognition of absolute insignificance”.
