Underwood is Country Academy’s Entertainer Of The Year, again

Carrie Underwood is the first female artist ever to win Entertainer Of The Year at the Academy Of Country Music Awards for a second time. Which I think tells us more about the Academy Of Country Music than it does about Underwood, but there you have it. The former American Idol was also presented with a Triple Crown Prize in recognition of the fact that, over her career, she has won the Best Newcomer, Best Female and Entertainer Of The Year prizes at the awards.

So, a good night for Underwood, though it was possibly Nashville-based trio Lady Antebellum who had the best evening, them taking no less that five prizes away from the Sunday night awards fest, including Best Vocal Group, Best Song and Single Of The Year.
