Tone Loc collapses at Des Moines gig

Also collapsing in the world of hip hop this weekend was Tone Loc, real name Anthony Terrell Smith, who collapsed during a show in Des Moines in Iowa on Saturday night.
Amateur video footage posted on the website of the Des Moines Register shows paramedics kneeling over the rapper giving first aid treatment. The show was cancelled and audience members asked to leave, though it’s thought Smith recovered at the venue and refused to be taken to hospital.
It’s not the first time Smith has collapsed during a show, he last did so at a gig in Florida in 2009.
