The Strokes start work on next album

The Strokes have started working on tracks for their next album, which means it should be released at some point in the next decade.
Bassist Nikolai Fraiture told the NME: “Every time we have a couple of weeks off, we like to go back into the studio to see how things progress and not leave them [too long]. I don’t think it’s ‘urgent’ in the way that we feel pushed. It’s ‘urgent’ in the way we want to work on music and keep the up momentum that we’ve managed to build up to now”.
The band’s latest album, ‘Angles’, was released earlier this year, but after a lengthy recording process turned out a bit rubbish.
