Gigs & Festivals Releases
The Leisure Society to perform
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 19 April 2011
Ivor Novello-winning indie band The Leisure Society have announced that they are to play a gig in the London Aquarium next month, before heading out on a touring of boring, normal venues. The show will take place on 2 May to promote the release of new album, ‘Into The Murky Water’, out on the same day.
Before that, like right now, you can watch the video for first single ‘This Phantom Life’, which is released on 25 Apr. The video stars the always brilliant Mark Heap being unsurprisingly brilliant, as he attempts to lure the band away from their instruments and into his spiritual retreat.
Tour dates:
2 May: London, Rough Trade East

3 May: Brighton, Komedia
4 May: Bristol, Thekla
5 May: Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
7 May: Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
