The Leisure Society sign deal with Full Time Hobby
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 15 July 2009
London/Brighton band The Leisure Society have signed a label deal with London-based independent Full Time Hobby.
The label is to re-release the band’s self produced debut ‘The Sleeper’, originally issued via the band’s own label Willkommen in March, in the UK on 5 Oct, and hope to also get it distributed in the US.
The reissued LP includes the track ‘The Last Of The Melting Snow’, which, as previously reported, won band member Nick Hemmings an Ivor Novello Awards nomination earlier this year. The re-release will also include a bonus eight track EP featuring b-sides and demos.
