The Hundred In The Hands detail second album
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 2 April 2012
Eleanore Everdell and Jason Friedman have announced details of ‘Red Night’, the second album they’ll release as Brooklyn-based synth-pop unit The Hundred In The Hands. Due out via Warp Records on 11 Jun, the self-produced record follows the band’s eponymous 2010 debut.
Defining the new album’s general tone, Everdell and Friedman intone in perfect unison: “From the start there was a darkness that was coming out both lyrically and sonically, the songs were all heartbreak and fear of losing something special, trying to find that better light”.
With a set booked at the extremely well-lit Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen in London on 31 May, THITH are already previewing album track ‘Faded’ online. You can take advantage of it below, and/or watch this ‘Red Night’ album trailer.
