The Great Escape

Every day in CMU this month we are previewing a different session taking place at this year’s CMU-programmed Great Escape convention, which takes place from 12-14 May at the Brighton Dome.

Today, something a little bit different – let’s talk about the formal networking sessions taking place this year. Doing the networking thing is core to TGE, and we will be offering you more chances than ever to meet, talk and share with other industry players this year, whether you are looking to buy, sell, expand, invest, learn or mentor.

There are plenty of chances to network during the three days. Registered delegates will have access to a directory of all the other delegates looking to network, and you can choose to meet at one of our parties, at anytime during the day in the convention hub or on Saturday book a table in the Great Escape Exchange. If you opt in, we can also arrange meetings for you on the Thursday afternoon. Registered delegates will get more info about all of this very soon.

In addition to all that, AIM and UKTI will be hosting their own speed networking sessions under the Around The World In 80 Ways banner, plus Canadian Blast will give you the chance to network with leading figures from Canada’s independent music community on the Friday morning. For more details about these sessions, and signing up for them, go to http://escapegreat.com/convention-line-up/networking-at-the-great-escape-2011

To gain access to all the unrivalled networking opportunities available at TGE this year, not to mention the panels and gigs, you need to get yourself a delegates pass. Do it now at escapegreat.com
