Team Me announce February 2015 UK shows
By Andy Malt | Published on Friday 19 September 2014
Team Me have announced that they will kick off a European tour next February with two UK shows. This will follow the release of their second album in January, via Propeller Recordings.
The follow-up to 2011’s ‘To The Treetops!’, the band’s Uno Møller told CMU of the new album: “I would say this album is darker, more band orientated and maybe a tiny bit more over-the-top, if that’s possible”.
Meanwhile, on their impending return to the UK, he added: “A few of our most dedicated fans are from the UK, so it’s always nice to meet them again. We’ve had a few great experiences in the UK, so hopefully we will have some more”.
However, he seemed a little bit concerned about the Norwegian band being booked into a a Hackney venue called Oslo: “Hopefully there will be some English people there as well. We’ve never played there before, so I’m not sure if it’s a place for Norwegians in London to go or not. Hopefully it’ll be a fun night! Hope to see some new faces and familiar faces. Looking forward to it!”
It’s OK, it’s not a Norwegian social club. Well, not primarily. Here are the two UK dates:
18 Feb: Manchester, Deaf Institute
19 Feb: London, Oslo
And here’s new double A-side single, ‘Blind As Night/All Time High’, which came out last month:
