Taylor Swift shakes off new single, LP details
By Aly Barchi | Published on Tuesday 19 August 2014
Hey everyone, a new Taylor Swift LP exists! Its title is ‘1989’, a la the year of Ms Swift’s birth, and it’ll officially be available on 27 Oct.
Speaking re the record, which like every artist ever tends to say their new record is, is, says Swift, apparently her greatest achievement to date, she explains: “I spent two years making ‘1989’. Two years gives you enough time to grow and change and let things inspire you. I was listening to a lot of late 80s pop music and how bold those songs were and how that time period was a time of limitless possibilities. In thinking about that, this album is a rebirth for me. This is my very first documented, official pop album. ‘1989’ is the most sonically cohesive album I have ever made and my favourite album I have ever made”.
Efficient as always, Swifty has already premiered lead ‘1989’ single ‘Shake It Off’. Watch her flailing all over the place in a manner akin to dancing in its now-airing video, now:
