Steven Tyler needs new knee

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler has shared (via Rolling Stone) the fact that he’ll be having a knee replacement later this year.
Tyler, who is taking “time off” from his band to make a solo LP that’s been tentatively set to be released in winter 2014, says this of the inevitable op: “My knee is giving out. It’ll take me about three or four months to recover… I’ve had so many operations on my knees and feet that just to be standing is a miracle. But to turn around and do one of my spins where I don’t fall, that’s the shit! But hey, all these years have taken their toll on me”.
