Steph Carter quits Gallows
By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 21 February 2013
Gallows guitarist Steph Carter has left the band, it was announced via the outfit’s Facebook page yesterday. The update reads: “Steph has left Gallows and we wish him the best of luck with his future projects. We will be moving on as a four piece like the early days. First stop, Australia”.
How amicable the split is at this stage is unclear, though on his personal Facebook page, Carter lists his current job as new musical project The Ghost Riders Of The Sky, with the description, “This has saved my sanity”. So, not very amicable, we’re guessing.
Carter’s brother Frank also quit Gallows in 2011, forming new band Pure Love. He was replaced by former Alexisonfire guitarist Wade MacNeil. The band released their third album, ‘Gallows’, last year.
