Spice Girl gets permanent shows on Heart
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 2 June 2009
Global Radio have signed up former Spice Girl Emma Bunton to become a regular presenter on their Heart FM network of stations. Bunton has filled in twice on the station’s breakfast show, and will get her own Friday and Saturday afternoon shows as a result of the new deal.
Bunton told reporters: “I love doing the breakfast show so much that when I was asked to present my own shows, it was really exciting and felt completely natural. I’ll be kick-starting the weekend with Feel Good Friday and then back on Saturday – I can’t wait to be part of the Heart team!”
Global Radio’s Director Of Broadcasting Richard Park added: “I am delighted to welcome Emma to spice up the Heart family from mid-June. Emma reflects what Heart is all about – she’s great fun, she’s down-to-earth and she’s a hard-working mum who lives life to the full”.
Bunton will start her new shows next week.
