SFX buys Perryscope Productions
By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 24 April 2014
SFX Entertainment is continuing its quest to own all of the world’s ‘EMC’ companies, with the acquisition of licensing and merch firm Perryscope Productions. The company will now manage all of SFX’s merchandise operations globally.
Perryscope founder Norman Perry said of the deal: “[SFX CEO] Bob Sillerman and his senior management team have assembled some of the brightest visionaries and brand builders in live entertainment, resulting in festivals and events that are the new gold standard. It will be a great experience to transform their ideas and show concepts into wearables, collectibles and memories for EMC fans across the world”.
Sillerman himself added: “Norman Perry is a true innovator in merchandising. He will expand the brand awareness of our many SFX properties and ensure high quality, cutting edge merchandise and collectibles will be available at events and wherever EMC fans shop”.
So, that’s good to know, if you’re an EMC fan who shops.
