Rockers line up for post-Sandy benefit show

Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, The Stones, Chris Martin, Paul McCartney, Kanye West and Alicia Keys all took to the stage last night in New York forming an impressively starry if slightly old-man-dominated line up for the 12-12-12 fund-raising show, in aid of charitable initiatives helping those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Though it was McCartney’s pre-hyped collaboration with former Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, and Nirvana part-timer Pat Smear, that perhaps generated the most chatter beyond the venue, them performing an only slightly tedious new track called ‘Cut Me Some Slack’, which you can check out now:
