Robbie and Buble do UFO duet
By Aly Barchi | Published on Monday 15 April 2013
Robbie Williams and Michael Buble have done “neo-swing” track together. Inspired by Robbie’s fabled penchant for aliens, it features the line: “Soda pop, Yoda what?” Hmm, whatever next?
Well, a remark via Buble, actually, who’s said this to The Sun: “We’re around the same age, we’ve gone through a lot of the same things. He’s just become a dad, I’m just about to. We both have problems, we both probably go too far with things we do. He just talks about it more than I do”.
Yes, that’s all very fascinating. But what of the single? “It’s catchy and fun, neo-swing. One of the lyrics is ‘Soda pop, Yoda what?’ Robbie wrote it when looking at UFOs”.
Anything but ‘Rudebox II’, I suppose.
