Rihanna equals Madonna’s album chart record

Rihanna has now equalled Madonna’s UK chart record of having three consecutive number one albums in a row, proving beyond doubt that holding a pack of journalists hostage in a metal tube for a week is a sure fire way to sell records.
‘Unapologetic’ went top yesterday, and is the singer’s fourth number one album in the UK overall, and third in a row following chart topping long players ‘Talk That Talk’ and ‘Loud’.
