Red Bull media house signs publishing deal with Sony/ATV

The Red Bull Media House, which handles all the Red Bull-branded sport and media activity, has announced that it has signed a new music publishing administration deal with Sony/ATV. The agreement will cover the world, except the US and Austria (where the company will continue to work on publishing in house), and will look after the publishing interests of artists sign to the Red Bull Records label, including AWOLNATION and Twin Atlantic.

Red Bull Media House’s Head Of Audio Portfolio, Martin Brem told CMU: “Joining forces with Sony/ATV means more power to our musical creators on a worldwide basis through the market leaders network. Our multifaceted approach as a media and content production company means that we can support both established and up-and-coming artists by offering unique and exciting opportunities. To have Sony/ATV on our side will help us to take our global artist development initiatives to a new level”.

Sony/ATV’s VP International Acquisitions Janice Brock added: “We are really happy to conclude this deal with Red Bull Media House. Red Bull has long been on the forefront of championing young new bands and giving them the time to develop. They have built a powerhouse of a company which we are honoured to be in business with”.
