Those who came to the May Remix All-nighter will vouch for how much fun it was, and for the most astonishing, nay jaw-dropping soundsystem I have EVER heard.

We’ve just announced the line up for our summer party, on 17 Jul. Ladytron return to London with new material and they will no doubt give us the old standards we love; Japanese Popstars bring their blissed out trancey-electro; and the wonderful Burn The Negative will open up the betting, all live. I’m looking forward to all three.

Then playing before, in between and afterwards, some DJ awesomeness in the form of Orbital’s Phil Hartnoll (we’re not worthy!), Remix God Alex Metric (Stu from Streetlife DJs said this week that Alex is so good he may have to remove his kneecaps!), the glorious Kitsuné enfants terribles Punks Jump Up, and the epic Matrix & Futurebound, who will deliver their brand of cinematic, Pendulum-like awesomness.

Now all of this is good – and I recently discovered that if you drive there it only takes 20 minutes from north London – but even better is that the lovely people at Matter have made the advanced ticket price ONLY A FIVER! Jesus Christ… all that talent, plus me, for less than the price of a pint at an average club. Sheesh. It will be a tenner on the night so please get to www.ticketweb.co.uk and reserve your place.

If you haven’t been to Matter before, fear not, it’s NOT as far as you think, AND YOU HAVE TO WITNESS THIS SOUND, with the woofer-piston thingy under the floor. It’s stunning. See you there, brothers and sisters.
