Psy vid now most streamed on YouTube

Elsewhere in music stats today, Psy’s video for ‘Gangnam Style’ is now the most watched item on YouTube, out-streaming the 2010 pop promo for Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’.
As of Saturday, the Bieber’s vid had been watched 803 million times, while Psy’s wacky dancing had been viewed 805 million times. And it only went online in July this year. “It’s been a massive hit at a global level unlike anything we’ve ever seen before,” said YouTube this weekend.
Psy, of course, has been signed up by Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun to his Schoolboy Records label, so a dance off to the death between the two of them could easily be arranged to be 2013’s YouTube mega-hit.
