Professor Green playing ‘secret’ Barclaycard show
By Aly Barchi | Published on Tuesday 12 March 2013
Rapper Professor Green has partnered with Barclaycard to play a not very secret “secret live gig” as part of the financier’s Contactless initiative. I guess it’s kind of secret though… after all, it’s going to take place in one of those “secret London locations”, to which guests will be “whisked away” via special buses.
It’s free, so if you want to go, you have till 15 Mar to apply for tickets via the Barclaycard Facebook page. The show’s on 23 Mar, by the way.
Pro Green, a keen admirer of Barclaycard Contactless – a newish ‘payment technology’ whereby you can pay for things by waving a credit/debit cards at them (mainly bus rides) – says this: “Being a London lad born and bred, I have been using public transport all my life so I am really looking forward to performing at the Barclaycard Contactless Gig and to help celebrate this new form of payment on London buses”.
