Prince’s Paisley Park home not being sold off
By Andy Malt | Published on Monday 8 August 2016
The Bremer Trust, which is currently overseeing the estate of Prince, has denied that it is planning to sell off his Paisley Park home and recording studio.
Last week, TMZ reported that the Trust had applied for permission to sell a number of the star’s properties. Paisley Park was one of these, the website claimed, and plans were afoot to put it on the market for $7 million.
Court documents confirmed that Prince’s house was indeed on the list of 20 properties, but the Trust has now said that it has “no plans” to offload Paisley Park, which was seen in Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ film.
“Bremer Trust, the special administrator for the Prince Rogers Nelson estate, has no plans to sell either Paisley Park or the property referred to as the ‘Purple Rain’ house”, says a statement.
Fans have been calling for the building to be turned into a museum.
