Paul McCartney attacked in Mexico
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 2 June 2010
Paul McCartney had to be rescued by police when his tour bus was attacked by a gang in Mexico in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to reports. The former Beatle had been performing at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City and was travelling through a “no go” area of the city when the bus was forced to stop by a group of men who then climbed on top of the bus.
A source told The Mirror: “At first his security team thought it was just swarms of fans but when people started scaling the bus, the situation changed in a flash. Paul and the team were shaken up”.
