Passion Pit album announced

Pop-aware American troupe Passion Pit are to release a sequel to 2009’s ‘Manners’ in forthcoming LP ‘Gossamer’, it’s been confirmed.
It’s set for release via Sony/Columbia on 23 Jul, and will comprise twelve as-yet-unspecified tracks.
Since facts on the actual content of the album are so scarce, I’ll add that it has been produced by New York-based Chris Zane, who dealt with Passion Pit’s debut and has since worked with Holy Ghost!, The Walkmen and Friendly Fires.
