Following the recent rebranding of London radio station Choice FM as Capital Extra, two former Choice DJs have now popped up at Mi-Soul, an online radio station available via the web and mobile apps, with plans to move to the digital radio network in due course.

Natty B, who spent thirteen years with Choice, will present a weekly reggae show every Saturday evening, while another Choice veteran, DJ Jigs, will host a daily show each weekday from 10am.

Mi-Soul presumably hopes that including the two popular DJs in their schedules will win them that portion of the former Choice audience not impressed with the station, originally set up to service London’s black community, transforming into a much more mainstream operation and more obvious Kiss competitor.

Mi-Soul MD Gordon Mac told CMU: “I am delighted to welcome two DJs who I have admired for many years. They will be valuable additions to a team that is bursting with high profile names”.
