Nicole Appleton and Liam Gallagher divorce

The High Court in London yesterday took just over a minute (68 seconds, according to The Daily Mail) to grant Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton a divorce. Neither party attended the hearing.
As previously reported, the couple split after it emerged that Gallagher had fathered a child with US journalist Liza Ghorbani, following an affair which began in 2010. This came to light due to a paternity case brought against the former Oasis frontman by Ghorbani.
Gallagher admitted to adultery and agreed in advance to pay “reasonable costs” to his now ex-wife, leading to an immediate granting of a decree nisi, or ‘quickie divorce’, as it’s more commonly known.
