New single from Richard Russell’s Everything Is Recorded

XL Recordings boss Richard Russell has launched his own new musical project, Everything Is Recorded, which sees him collaborating with a variety of different artists.
Following on from first single ‘Close But Not Quite’, new track ‘Mountains Of Gold’ features Sampha, Ibeyi, Wiki and Kamasi Washington.
“‘Mountains of Gold’ is sound system inspired. You can hear a lot of strong and different personalities and voices in the one song, but the feeling is consistent”, says Russell. “Everyone has plenty of space”.
