New London record store, Rye Wax, opening soon(ish)
By Aly Barchi | Published on Wednesday 23 April 2014
Since it’s always a pleasant rarity to hear of a record shop opening, as opposed to closing, hear this and be glad; a new independent retailer named Rye Wax is moving into the basement of the Bussey Building/CLF Art Cafe in Peckham, South London, in the spring of 2014. So, any time about… now.
And that’s it, really. For the time being. You can kill some minutes until the shop’s grand launch is by gazing intently at the Rye Wax FB page, which includes an attractive official logo and hints of “records, books, comics and coffee”, via this link. That or follow the shop on Twitter. Or do both!
