Ralf Hütter of electronic icons Kraftwerk has alluded to a potential successor to the band’s 2003 LP, ‘Tour De France’, stating that it was “under way” and would be out “soon”.
Speaking to The New York Times in honour of Kraftwerk’s eight night residency at the New York Museum Of Modern Art, Hütter said: “We didn’t fall asleep. The 168 hour week is still going on since the beginning, since 1970”.
He continued: “We learn from noise, and we learn from going to clubs. Music is never finished. It starts again tomorrow. We are [always] operating, we are upgrading, we are updating continuously. There’s continuous reprogramming going on, and composition and new concepts are also coming”.
