New Editor In Chief for Pitchfork
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 6 June 2011
US music website Pitchfork last week appointed Mark Richardson, formerly the site’s Managing Editor, to the role of Editor In Chief, replacing Scott Plagenhoef, who is leaving the company. Confirming the appointment, Pitchfork founder Ryan Schreiber told reporters: “Mark was one of the first writers I hired for Pitchfork and we’re all excited to have him take on this new role. Mark has big shoes to fill, but I have no doubt he’s the ideal person to lead us going forward”.
