New deals and appointments at Believe
By Chris Cooke | Published on Wednesday 26 February 2014
Believe Digital announced a number of new label deals yesterday, confirming it is now working with Canada’s Nettwerk Music Group in all territories outside North America and the British Isles, eclectic London-label Mr Bongo in all markets outside France, and with world music specialists World Circuit everywhere outside North America.
Also with newly confirmed deals are indie distributor and publisher Wienerworld, which will work with Believe worldwide, and dance label Toolroom Records, which will use Believe’s video distribution services.
The new deals come as the digital distribution and marketing firm announces two new recruits, namely James Farrelly, previously at the Association Of Independent Music, who becomes Trade Marketing Manager in the UK, and former Coop Music Label Manager Ed Pearson, who becomes Marketing Manager for Believe Recordings.
