New cassette label launches
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 28 July 2011
The guys behind Transgressive Records have teamed up with journalist and presenter Jen Long, perhaps best known for fronting BBC Introducing in Wales, to create a new cassette only record label.
Called Club Kissability, the first release on the new imprint will be DZ Deathray’s ‘Ruined For Life EP’ out on 19 Sep on a jazzy pink audio cassette. The tape will come with a QR code that will provide access to a bonus track download and full live set from the band, for those retro fans who don’t have a working tape player to actually play the main release on.
A second release, from Cut Ribbons, will follow in November.
