Music Video Awards presented

So, it was the third Music Video Awards in London town last night and, perhaps unsurprisingly, Plan B and OK Go dominated. This was unsurprising because Plan B already led the way with eleven nominations, while OK Go, well, they’re the ‘video band’, aren’t they? The former took four awards on the night, while the latter got the Best Rock Video and overall Best Video prizes. Elsewhere an Icon Award went to film directors Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith for all their pop promo work for the likes of Blur, Supergrass, Fatboy Slim and Radiohead. Ed O’Brien of the latter presented the Icon gong.
