This position calls for a dynamic, detail-oriented consultant with a proven track record of previous marketing/sales experience and a developed music industry network. This person will be point of contact in London, for the UK for artist releases, working externally with artist management, artist teams, publicists, etc and internally with A&R, creative, digital, sales, publicity, radio, international and synch.

Candidate will be an energetic self-starter and an independent creative thinker who manages time and personalities with ease. The candidate’s experience should reflect the duties/skills listed below:

• Help develop overall marketing strategy across retail, digital and social outlets for select artists
• Knowledgeable of global marketing/digital partners and trends
• Product manage specific artists/products, co-ordinating with in-house staff (radio, digital, physical, sales, production, international, merchandise, synch, sponsorships, tour) to agree upon overall plan of action
• Hire / manage independent online media and press companies
• Plan and schedule artist releases along with their local rollout
• Conceptualise and secure diverse promotional opportunities for artists and their content with online outlets, brands, influencers, etc
• Liaise with streaming editorial teams to secure priority coverage for releases
• Develop local playlist strategy, develop compelling pitches for priority releases, and analyse sales/streams
• Liaise with artists, managers, publicists, retailers, consumers and in-house staff to coordinate marketing and sales efforts

Desired skills and experience

• Label experience or in other aspects of the music business
• 2+ years experience in related role
• Microsoft Office Suite
• G Suite
• Proven experience managing budgets
• Strong presentation skills required
• Ability to create actionable recommendations for the business and artists
• Experienced in managing internal teams and external agencies to hit targets
• Strong organizational and project-management skills
• Highly organized, detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment while managing multiple priorities
• Developed understanding of the dance space as well as the music industry as a whole
