Job ad: Raymond Gubbay Limited – Events Administrator (London)

Raymond Gubbay Ltd, London’s leading promoter of popular classical music, dance and trail events, is seeking to appoint a full time enthusiastic Event Administrator to join its busy event department.

The company regularly presents over 500 events a year in London and around the UK and the role would play an active part in supporting the event department’s many and varied activities.
The role will require a dedicated and motivated individual to support and work with the event team to deliver a diverse and exciting range of concerts and shows throughout the year.

Core Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Head of Concerts and Programming as required to ensure that they and other members of the department are kept up to speed.
• Liaising with artists and agents regularly regarding details of performances.
• To co-ordinate and organise concerts in the form of advancing technical information to venues, communicating rehearsal details to performers, organising artist travel and accommodation and general office administration as required.
• To regularly attend and manage concert performances around the UK, acting as a representative for the company and as artist liaison/point of contact on the day.
• To maintain and develop the existing administrative process involved in producing a large number of events throughout the year.
• To work closely with the events team in developing new projects and also ensuring proper delivery of existing product.

Skills and Requirements
• The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, driven and reliable individual with a passion for live performance and a good understanding of both classical music and other genres.
• Proof Reading & Copy writing experience would be an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and phone manner with excellent written and communication skills Experience of working with Excel and Word.
• Someone who is able to manage a number of projects and meet the appropriate deadlines as required.
• The ability to show initiative when working both independently and as part of a small team.
• Ability to drive (with valid UK drivers licence) preferred.

Salary: £20k-£22k dependant on experience
